Terms of Service

1. Who can use Unspoken

You must be at least 13 years old to use Unspoken. If you are under 18, you may use Unspoken only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. Important: not a substitute for professional care

Unspoken offers spiritual and emotional support. It is not medical care, mental health care, professional counseling, crisis intervention, or spiritual direction, and it is not a substitute for any of those things.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or thoughts of self-harm, please contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. In the United States you can call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline).

3. Your account

You can create an account with your email address or by signing in with Google or Apple. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. If you believe your account has been accessed without your permission, contact us at laura@getunspoken.com.

4. What Unspoken is

Unspoken is a prayer app made by Soleo Technologies. It helps you put words to what you are carrying: guided and personalized prayers, a private prayer journal, and a community Prayer Wall where you can share prayer requests and pray for others.

We may add, change, or remove features over time as the app grows.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Unspoken offers a paid subscription at $7.99 per month, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.

• Your subscription is purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your store account, and payment processing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Soleo Technologies never receives or stores your payment card details.
• Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial or the current billing period, your subscription renews automatically each month.
• You can cancel anytime in your device's subscription settings (App Store: Settings → your name → Subscriptions; Google Play: Play Store → profile → Payments and subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are governed by Apple's and Google's refund policies for in-app purchases. We do not have the ability to issue refunds for purchases made through their stores, but if something went wrong, write to us and we will point you to the right place.
• If we change the subscription price, we will notify you in advance through the app or by email, and the new price will only apply at your next renewal after that notice.

6. AI-assisted content

Some content in Unspoken, such as personalized prayers, is generated with the help of artificial intelligence. This content is offered as a starting point for your own prayer and reflection. It is not doctrine, prophecy, or a message from God, and it may occasionally be imperfect or miss the mark.

Use your own judgment, and where questions of faith or doctrine matter to you, consult your own community, pastor, or tradition.

7. Your content and our license

Your prayers, journal entries, prayer requests, and posts belong to you. You retain full ownership of everything you write in Unspoken.

So that the app can work, you grant Soleo Technologies a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process your content solely to provide and improve the service — for example, saving your journal, showing your Prayer Wall post to the community you shared it with, or backing up your data.

You are responsible for the content you create and share. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

8. The Prayer Wall and community features

The Prayer Wall is a shared space. We may moderate, remove, or decline to display content that violates these Terms, and we may do so without prior notice. We do not guarantee that all community content is monitored or reviewed.

Content posted by other users reflects those users, not Soleo Technologies. If you see something that concerns you, report it in the app or write to laura@getunspoken.com.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• harass, threaten, shame, or target other users
• post content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, or exploitative
• spam, advertise, or solicit other users
• upload malware or attempt to interfere with the operation of the service
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• scrape, harvest, or collect data about other users
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

10. Our content and intellectual property

The Unspoken name, logo, design, and app — everything except the content you create — are owned by Soleo Technologies and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or branding.

11. Third-party services

Unspoken is built on and works with third-party services, including Base44 (app platform and authentication), Google and Apple (sign-in), RevenueCat (subscription management), the Apple App Store and Google Play Store (payments and distribution), and analytics providers described in our Privacy Policy.

Those services belong to their providers, and Soleo Technologies is not responsible for their conduct, availability, or policies.

12. Disclaimers

Unspoken is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We make no guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and no guarantee of any specific outcome from prayer or from use of the app.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soleo Technologies will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of Unspoken.

To the same extent, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Soleo Technologies from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

You can stop using Unspoken and delete your account at any time in the app's settings. Deleting your account removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we will give you notice.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

17. Dispute resolution

If you have a dispute with us, please write to laura@getunspoken.com first. Most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally, and we genuinely prefer that.

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally within 60 days, it will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas, and you and Soleo Technologies consent to their jurisdiction. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court instead.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you through the app or by email before the change takes effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continuing to use Unspoken after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
